Custom phone greetings are recordings that play automatically when a customer calls your Talkroute phone number.
These greetings can be set to play immediately as a professional welcome, auto attendant, special announcement, voicemail greeting, or even as an away message when you are unable to answer. You can also use greetings to play special promotions or music while callers wait on hold.
Custom greetings can give your business a larger and more professional appearance. They can also help you save on labor costs by eliminating the need to have a live secretary for answering calls.
Custom greetings can be recorded three ways:
1. Upload a pre-recorded file to your Talkroute dashboard.
2. Use our dial-and-record feature to record your greeting right from your phone.
3. Record a greeting directly from your PC.
For the best quality, we recommend using a mic and headset on your computer to record the file and then upload it to Talkroute.
Yes! Each of your Talkroute numbers can play its own unique welcome greeting, share the same greeting, or play no greeting at all.
Yes! You Talkroute Call Menu, also known as an auto attendant, can be customized to provide callers with your own unique menu prompts.
Yes! Each of your Talkroute voice mailboxes can play its own unique voicemail greeting, share the same greeting, or play no greeting at all.
